    In the images at the right and on the following slides, (sample 1, sample 2, sample 3), examine the nephron components, cut mainly transversely and obliquely, and identify:

    • Proximal convoluted tubules
    • Thin limbs of Henle
    • Thick ascending limbs of the loops of Henle
    • Distal convoluted tubules
    • Collecting ducts
    • Peritubular capillaries
