The eyelids are skin-covered structures
with several features that provide protection (e.g. striated muscle
that allow eyelids to rapidly close and eyelashes that capture
debris) and lubrication (e.g. glands that produce tears, mucus, and
sebum) for the eyes.

Identify the stratified columnar epithelium of the conjunctiva
(C) with numerous goblet cells, tarsal plate (TP), tarsal or
Meibomian glands (TG, modified sebaceous glands), striated
muscle (SM), follicles of eyelashes (F), and the thin, folded
surface skin (S) with typical epidermal appendages.
