    On this slide of testis and with help from the image at the right, identify the rete testis, an irregular arrangement of tubules lined by simple cuboidal epithelium within the dense connective tissue of the mediastinum testis. The rete testis functions to convey sperm and fluid from the seminiferous tubules into the efferent ductules.
